A couple of the pups from Izzy's litter went to families in Connecticut. The breeder was in Rhode Island.

KaMu - lol

Brushing teeth does help. Now that Cosmo's gums are not bleeding anymore we have gone back to brushing his teeth once a week. He loooves it. Then again, he loves anything tasty (and nasty) in his mouth and the toothpaste is peanut/mint. He sees that toothpaste and he comes running and sits in front of me and is very sad when brushing is over.

Thanks for the info BeauShel. It was much worse when the teeth were still loose. Unfortunately most of her teeth came out all at once thus the new teeth are coming in all at once. The vet actually questioned whether or not I new her actual birth date...she was shocked that her canine teeth fell out so early. I am just hoping that if she got her teeth so early that she does not come in to heat early as well. We just started the second phase of obedience training.

Weird, Ranger had a fishy smell hovering around his mouth a few days ago but he's definitely not teething. It hung around for a few days then cleared up. It was before I gave him sardines so not sure why it happened. Then I gave him sardines and he only had fish breath for a few hours before it went back to normal.

Ummm, they lick their rear end, so I would still bet it's her anal glands making her breath smell.

Could the Flagyl that she is on, cause the smell?

Eric has some bad fishy smell too and he's also teething! Initially I thought it was the teaspoon of cod liver oil, but there were days I wasn't giving him that...and it was worse than that! So I'm guessing it's pretty normal...
