We lost our Emma at 4 months old. Our bouncy happy puppy suddenly became lethargic. We took her to the Vet who found a heart murmur. After several tests, EKG, x-rays, sonograms, and a trip to Cornell cardiologist found she had left atrial enlargement, and renal failure. We made her a comfortable as possible, until she was no longer able to hold down food. We lost her last Wednesday. Miaya misses her friend, I miss my baby.
Yes she came from a breeder here in upstate NY will all clearances, she is having the rest of the litter owners notified . She has offered us the pick of her next litter, but we have declined.
It's great that she had you and Miaya to make her brief life as wonderful as possible! I'm not sure there's ever been a golden who didn't die "too soon" as we're never ready when the time comes.
I'm so deeply sorry. We lost one to sudden death last fall, around 7 years old. You and your world is changed forever. I will hold you in my thoughts and pray you find peace soon. That is way too young.
Saying a prayer that my Maggie will find her at the Bridge and give her lots of love.
