Charley is a bad boy

Just as me and my DH were settling into bed, Charley decides to throw up his entire dinner, then decides he wants to eat it back. My DH found a large piece of rope! After cleaning up the mess, I took charley out to go potty. We get back into bed and he decided to poop in the bedroom. Lets just say it was not a good night at my house. Thankfully charley is feeling much better and now he's not allowed anymore rope toys, unless supervised.

Aww Poor Charley! Having that rope inside him must have really made his tummy feel awful. I do hope it is all out and he continues to be on the mend.

I'm glad Charley feels better and although that made for a horrible night for you it's still a good thing the rope came up that way. Bentley also vomited a whole sock that I didn't know he ate. After reading the horror stories about blockages we really dodged a bullet!

You have my sympathies. We went thru that last summer. For some reason Bella liked to chew up roots. Of just about anything, grass shrubs little trees etc.
And they always made her vomit.
Luckily /or not we were present and stopped her from re-eating it.

After realizing my dogs did nothing but destroy and ingest those rope toys thread by thread, I no longer buy any toys that has rope making up any part of it. No fun. Poor Charlie

Charley

So glad that Charley is alright. A rope could be dangerous!

My son's lab, Riley had to have surgery to remove a rope toy when he was young. No rope toys here!
