My puppy has always wanted to be close to me but over the last few months shes gotten closer and closer.

At night she sleeps on my bed and a couple of times every night she gets up, moves closer to me (so she's touching) and goes back to sleep.

If im lying on the floor she'll come and lie next to me (usually back to back) or sometimes she'll sit so close its almost on my head Yes, shes sat on my face a couple of times Earlier today she sat so close on my hair i was pinned to the ground!

If im cooking she'll join me in (and lie at my feet), or follow me from room to room.

She always joins me in the toilet and when im in the bath she'll lie next to the tub, periodically getting up to see at what im up to.

She also loves coming and sitting on my knee.

I love this.

What sort of things does your puppy do? How close do they like to get?

Shadow thinks I'm a pillow. If he can get his head on me - he will. Otherwise, he normally has to be somewhere he can see me.

Very very close. If I'm sitting on the couch, 75% of the time, he isn't happy unless his butt is in my face.

He always follows me from room to room, regardless of time. Peeing is IMPOSSIBLE without his furry butt laying on my feet or taking advantage of the situation and stealing kisses since i cannot just get up and leave. When he sleeps in bed with us, he is always touching me.

Both my 6 month of Golden Girls are like this, they follow everyone in my house around and always like to be where everyone is. If I am in the living room and they are both sleeping and I get up to go to bed, within 5 minutes they realize I have left and both of them are in our bedroom and usually one in bed. Although with as big as they are now that isn't always easy or possible. Plus they get over heated, but I love them always wanting to be with us also.

Finlay is by my side ALL the time. It started the day we brought him home. I mean, he is next to me every step I take. Even if I get up from the dining room table, and take five steps into the kitchen, he's right there. When I shower in the morning, he lays right in front of the shower door to were sometimes I am stuck in there, because he won't move when I want out. If I sit on the chair in the LR, he jumps on the couch, walks across the end-table, and climbs into my lap. I literaly do not have a minute without him. He has followed me close enough to where he stepped onto the back of my flip-flops, and made me trip. DH just shakes his head. Finlay is seriously a "velcro dog". I love him lots, but it sometimes would be nice if DH, or DS would get some of that attention, giving me just a little bit of a breather

hahaha yes, i do find i constantly tripping over her or standing on her paws - she doesn't even seem to notice!

About this close...

Unless he is REALLY tired then he tends to lay in a dark corner by himself. Otherwise he is right next to me, on me or under/at my feet 😄

My 7 month old likes to sleep on my pillow. He rests his chin on top of my head. He weighed 14 pounds when he started doing it, now he is 65 pounds! Every once in awhile he very gently presses his face next to mine, just for a minute. It is one of the sweetest things I have ever experienced.

Wyatt is exactly like that, except he doesn't sleep on the bed with us. He sleeps on the floor next to me. But yes if I am in the bath he lays next to it and follows me from room to room. He has to touch all time.

Sometimes I feel like Winnie has a tracking system placed on me. She just wants to be near me at all times. The only time I mind is when the bully sticks are placed on my lap. Even the odor free ones are not odor free! I don't think she knows she weighs 50lbs!
