Right?! His adult molar that literally showed up out of nowhere further back is 3-4x the size of the baby tooth. I was checking his teeth and I was shocked! Where in the hot heck did that come from?!?! Ha Ha Ha! |

| Ouchie, that molar is impressive. The good thing about baby teeth is that they have very shallow roots compared with adult teeth which is why they pop out so easily. Bear is growing up; you may expect a loooooot of chewing in the next months as he sheds the remaining baby teeth and sets the adults ones in. Time to get out the frozen washcloths (under supervision), the frozen carrots, the hard Nylabones, and everything else that is safe and he might like to chew on. I really wonder where the Princesses puppy teeth went. In their stomach or somewhere in the lawn probably.

| I think we're waiting on four more molars and his four canines to drop. We give frozen apple slices, ice cubes, a frozen knotted sock, jumbo teething nylabones, an antle, a huge marrow bones, kongs, rope toys, and carrots. I think that's it. He has tons of chew-safe toys, too. I hope we're prepared! I keep hearing of the nightmares of the teething stage, but so far, it's been easier than I expected. Now, that could mean it was normal, and I expected hell, or we're having an easier go of it. |

| Will the Tooth Fairy be leaving biscuits under his pillow?

| I have two of Brews teeth too! My son was very concerned about the tooth fairy and why she doesn't collect dog teeth. I told him that dogs don't spend money so they have no use for it, and dog toys are just to heavy for a small fairy to carry! LOL

| Holy Molar! (Graphic) The tooth fairy came early. Bear came with me to the pet store and behaved admirably so I picked up a new rope toy on clearance. He totally earned it. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |
