I have been MIA from here for six weeks due to a homeowner claim. Our temporary rental had no internet service, so I had some serious withdrawal from the forum. I really missed following Bentley and Ky's adventures! FYI, my boys Hunter and Mako are wonderful watch dogs, but they always run to the safety of the back door patio to show how protective they are!

You guys/gals are hilarious!! Maybe when I build Bentley's house I'll paint it pink too. I believe in equality for all and if my lil guy likes the princess house to feel safe..mama is fine with that

Thank you - we are just fine! We had a "moisture" claim. All my oak flooring buckled like all at once within a month or so. Thank goodness the insurance company covered it. When they told me they would pay to have all the flooring in the house replaced I was delighted. However, I never thought it would be as involved as it was. We had to move out for six weeks while the flooring was removed and all sub-flooring dried out. We also did a lot of work (not covered by insurance) to make sure this will never happen again. We moved back in last week but there's still some finishing work going on ... just so happy to be back. We were lucky to find a short-term rental with a fenced yard, so Hunter and Mako did fine and just thought they were on vacation.
