Odie gets stanky fast lol... I mean, serious wet-dog funk. I don't want to over-bathe him, and I do have some "puppy cologne" (which also reeks, IMO)... I've heard of using tear-free baby shampoo as its so gentle... I used some Johnson's Sensitive Tear and Fragrance Free and his cost was sooooo soft after. Odie was not impressed with the bath, poor guy.

Right now we are bathing every other week. He's due this weekend, and we plan to introduce him to our Endless Pool and swimming right before his bath. We are using an oatmeal shampoo we got at Foster and Smith that doesn't have a heavy scent as I have a fragrance intolerance.

Both mine go to groomers once a month and get the whole treatment bath -nails- hair trim and go back every two weeks for nail trim.

Brew get's a bath as needed which at this point is every 2-3 weeks, and I've been using a tear free puppy shampoo that smells like baby powder, it leaves his coat very soft and fluffy and he smells SO good! Brew also LOVES his bath time, maybe because he's SUCH a water loving dog, it's at the point now that if I'm running a bath for myself or the kids I have to close the bathroom door or he'll just jump in! He's a nut!

Had to wash Bogey (my Golden) last night after he got muddy. Reese (my 14 week old Leonberger pup) sat outside the bathroom door crying like he was in pain jealous knowing Bogey was in the shower.
