Vinnie has been out of his crate all year! I decided I would let him stay out of his crate after I took down the tree. His first night was New Years Eve and he was really good. I had no concerns about accidents because he's completely potty trained but I was worried about him destroying something or more importantly hurting him self. My husband is home during the day but when he goes back to work I'll try confining him to one room and see how it goes. He still goes in on his own from time to time and that makes me happy that he feels comfortable in there. I'm very proud of my boy!

Go Vinnie! Bentley's crate has been gone awhile now but he has Ky the pup cop watching him at night

I'm the pup cop around here. I know my husband doesn't watch him the way I do when I'm at work. I'm kind of a helicopter mom.

I know the feeling. I watch chester like a hawk! but if it was up to my boyfriend chester would get away with murder and then some

Know it was one of the most scarey times, when we omited the crates for our two. They did so well, but at night I was afraid they would eat the house if not supervised. Glad to report that it went beautifully. We have gates and the dogs were and are content to stay in the den/kitchen/dinning area. It was good cause having two large crates in our den took up all the walking room.

Vinnie is becomming a big boy now!
