Hi there, I have actually been reading this forum for quite some time and decided it is finally time to introduce you all to Moose

He is just over 6 months old now. We brought him home when he was 7 weeks. He is our first golden and we are so completely in love with him!! I can't begin to tell you how much great advice I have found in this forum and am so thankful that you all share your knowledge and stories here.
While we have definitely had some challenging moments here and there, Moose has been overall pretty easy to train with no stubbornness until just recently. At some point in the last week or so, he decided to develop some selective hearing skills when we call him back inside from the yard when he goes out to potty. He has always done really well at coming when called so it has been frustrating that he seems to have taken a step back.
Treats don't seem to make much of a difference either. Is this maybe the start of the "teenage phase"? Has anyone else had this problem, and what did you do?
I can't figure out how to add a picture from my phone, so I will see if I can come back and add a couple when I am on my computer later, sorry!
