I can hardly blame you for laughing since no doubt the dog is confused. I do not let her up at all right now and my boyfriend does, so clearly my options are either I need to send HIM to obedience school, or just cave in and let her up. Rest assured we're taking care of this TODAY lol.

The yorkies and cats are allowed on all furniture and Buddy is not. My parents watch them when I go to work and they don't allow him on the furniture so the same rules are set at my house. Buddy does sneak on to the furniture and will get off as soon as he is told "Off".

I have 2 old sofas in my basement TV room and I am sure he sleeps on them all the time because the blankets, pillows, and cushions are always messed up even after I know I folded and straightened them up . I make tons of noise going downstairs so he has time and warning to get off

I've had dogs my entire life and never have any of them been allowed on the furniture (or bed). In our house, furniture is for people, dogs lie on the floor or their beds.

I believe it's a personal choice and not a right or wrong thing.

Yeah, I don't think it's a right or wrong thing either. My preference is to not sit in a pile of shed fur (oddly our cat doesn't shed much ), but clearly we need to figure out together once and for all if we're going to let her up. I tried asking him and he's not feeling well so he didn't want to talk about it. I am pretty much letting him have the final word since he bought all the furniture before we ever met, but I didn't realize it would be a difficult decision for him LOL

Also when I get home- Garage door up- Pull car in- Put garage door down- Open and then close door- The loudly say "I'm home guys! Where is everyone?"

If I don't it- It doesn't happen

No. Bella is not allowed on the furniture. Fortunately, she doesn't want to sit on the couch anyway. She has a comfy dog bed right next to the couch that she uses constantly.
