I bet Ky is having a blast though! But I know what you mean, they become such an integral part of our lives it feels weird when they aren't around. Sage is already a big part of our daily routine. I don't know what I would do without her. Here's to hoping I won't have to worry about it till she's 15 or so...:-)

Ky was supposed to be home an hour and 20 minutes ago! I trust my brother with her but they're both in trouble for missing curfew!!

Of course Bentley is sleeping soundly on daddy's lap

My brother called last night and asked if Ky could spend the night, you have no idea how badly I wanted to say no but he recently lost his wife and lives alone so I said yes.
He's my youngest brother and was horribly torn up by a GS when he was 5 yrs old so he's always been afraid of dogs. For some reason Ky is the only dog he's ever felt comfortable around.

I had a terrible night without Ky here, I hardly slept at all. Of course Bentley slept like the prince he is.
After we left the nursing home this AM we went and picked up Ky. Now my world is back on it's axis. Oh how I love my Ky girl!!

Thanks, yes he spoils her rotten! He has an indoor pool so they swim together which is great for her back pain. He said he cooked her a NY strip steak for dinner and ice cream for dessert.

I hope she's not too disappointed when she sees regular kibble in her bowl today

LOL and your dad would be right! Yes my brother does well with Bentley but he gets a bit nervous when he's in a bitey stage. He much prefers to hang out with Ky.
I keep trying to talk him into rescuing a dog so he doesn't have to borrow mine but he says no way, only Ky can go in his house
