When Brady was about 3 months old, I got really sick for about a week. He had two - three days of almost total crate time when my husband wasn't home. I did take him out to the backyard, but not as often or as long as I normally would.

Now that they are older, they seem to know, and are content cuddling.

Trying out Doggie Day care today! He seemed pretty happy when I left. The last couple of days he has been so good but his puppy energy finally got the best of him!

I went over 4 years without getting a cold or flu, then 3 days after Yogi came home with us I came down with a "flulike" viral infection (tested negative for flu at doctor's office). It sure felt like the flu with my temp about 101, headache, sinus pain/congestion and major body aches to the point I couldn't sit up. Thank goodness my husband was on days off because I have no idea how I could have taken Yogi out throughout the night for potty. I was 100% better after a couple of days, just in time for him to go out of town. Timing is everything....

I let the Yorkie play in the dirty laundry . They love it and the laundry is already dirty!

Buddy loves to rip up cardboard so I always save the paper towel, toilet paper, and wrapping paper tubes that way he had something that will keep him busy and can eerily be cleaned up using a Shop Vac.

I will also give them raw bones, Kongs with food, antlers, and bullysticks.

I will hide their favorite toys and then tell them to find them. 95% of the time when i am sick I have put the toys in a room with a baby gate at the door and the toy a closet. They never find the toy and it keeps the looks for hours . Mean I know but mama needs to sleep . The game works because when I am not sock they always find the toy within 5 minutes

My husband really helps me a lot when it comes to that I can't get out of bed. Another really nice option is if you have really nice neighbors that are able to help...

When I am sick, I still take care of my dogs and walk them. That's life.
