Bentley is a genius!

Well, maybe he's not quite ready to join Mensa yet but close

He loves to retrieve so I usually tell him go get the pig, or bear or whatever toy (we've always named them) but normally the toys are right in front of us.

Tonight he doesn't want to be out in the cold and I'm trying to keep him away from DH because he's in pain so I decided to make a game.

I put 10 of his babies in the backroom while he watched then we went in the living room, I said go get the pig! And he went and got it for me. We went through all 10 and he got 4 right!!

Ok, I know, I know, that's not even 50% but I think it's pretty dang good for our first time. Either it's really good or I've really lost my mind, either is possible after the day we've had

Good boy Bentley. You show Mom you're a smart boy and she'll ease up on boot camp. That's your plan and a good one, too.

Go Bentley!! He's so darn smart.. trying to weasel himself out of boot camp.

Molly doesn't know the name of any of her toys.. I tried to teach her "ducky" and gave up.

Apparently being a genius is hard work. He stole my chair and he's snoring...

LOL...I have seen shows where dogs get it right almost 100% of the time, and can distinguish between two dolls that are identical in everyway except size. It was amazing.

Keep up the good work Bentley! You to Joyce. Oh and my favorite puppy is a sleeping puppy...well not really unless I'm tired too!

Great going Bentley. Clever boy. I will have to do that with Loki. He can't go out on walks or to the park at the moment, due to where his Hotspot is on the throat & vet does not want him wearing a collar until healed. It's a good thing he isn't an energetic puppy.
