There's nothing better than taking your pup to the beach IMO, they absolutely love it.
I'm about five minutes from some of the best Beaches here on the NC Coast. However, I rarely take my guys over to the Island because there is such a strict Leash Law with a very hefty fine if you get caught with them off Leash. Having them on a leash defeats the whole purpose in my mind, I can't see any fun in that myself.
That's the main reason why I take them down to the little beach at the end of my street, plus the water is much calmer since it's the Inter Coastal Waterway. My guys can run loose, have a blast and not bother anyone, we normally have it all to ourselves.
I'm glad you were able to take your boy, what a great place to go and let loose.
