Is the one we just found out is our Sage.

No new picture this week, I went out yesterday and forgot...however I hope to go early next week and take some...I was way to enamored playing with everyone and watching them

This little girl kept coming up to me and sitting between my legs, gazing into my eyes...etc. It just feels right, from her behavior to her demeanor she just has "ours" written all over her...

Now the whole thing is becoming more real...

The next 13 days will be so hard...While we still weren't sure it was a bit easier but now that it appears settled...I actually have butterflies...And I am praying that nothing goes wrong between now and then...I know they are well taken care of but knowing now that she is mine, makes me want to get her home all the more....doing the Happy Dance here...

Congratulations are sure being sent from our place. Now waiting will be so hard, but when the Big Day comes it will be such a huge event. Don't forget to take pictures when you go pick her up. You will look back at those many times over the years.

I plan to put my hubby on camera patrol that day...and I am a picture taking fool but I know I will just want to hold her and watch her.

I plan on taking a picture every day from the day she comes home for the first year. I think living with them you miss things because you see them everyday...

I remember when my boys were babies, I took a picture every day. I didn't see it then but I see it now in the pictures how they changed over night.

I feel like running around and jumping smacking my heels together but I don't need to end up in the hospital with a broken anything this close to her coming home....lol

She's a babe. I have always done that, allowing the puppy/ kitten to choose me. Before I went to see the litter Loki came from, I talked to my trainer & she gave me so many instructions as to how to select our puppy. So I told her that I had always chosen a pet from my heart, just knowing it was right. She replied that that was a silly way to choose! So I went to see the babies with all these notes in my head as to what I had to look for ....one baby was spoken for, so I had four more baby boys to choose from. When I got there, & saw those plump balls of fluff waddling about, all that the trainer had told me flew right out of my head, & when the biggest ball of fluff waddled up to me, sat down at my feet & whimpered to be picked up, I knew he was the one for us. You have to pick from the heart & not from the head ..well that's what I think anyway.

I know what you mean about it all being so much more real once you have chosen your baby. We had gale force winds two days after I had chosen Loki. I kept waking up in the middle of the night, listening to the howling wind, & saying to my DH " I hope the babies are ok ...I hope Our baby isn't frightened". The breeder had them out in a shed with a grassed play area. I was so worried that the shed would blow down. The next thirteen days are going to seem like a lifetime to you. I passed the time browsing through pet shops, buying toys, bedding, etc .....it's like preparing for a human baby lol.

It was narrowed down to two last week, and quite honestly the one I wanted was the same one that chose me and the breeder agreed...so it was a triple threat..lol!

Thanks, I think so too....She will be darker as her ears are dark, but her dad has shading, you know darker on his back and head and then lighter on his feathers...hoping she does this too. Mom is pretty dark, but I don't think Sage will be as dark..and I think her fur will have some wave....She is a cutie but then I'm biased.
