Murdock has the bad habit of barking and growling viciously at anything that scares him. He has done this since he was just 12 weeks or so old.
Usually I just tell him it's ok or nothing is there and then I don't give anymore of my attention to it. I figure if I show it is no big deal, maybe he will understand.
But this morning, as he was at the sliding glass door growling and barking at something (I couldn't figure it out) it got me to thinking that when he does that, I have become immune to it and really don't pay it any attention. What if it was something ?
And then I thought of the boy who cried wolf!
I'm sure I could ready him the story, but somehow I doubt he would understand any of it.
