| How furry & fluffy are GR pups? So how furry & fluffy should they be at 8-12 weeks old? When we got ours he didn't look nor was as furry & fluffy as the majority of the pups I've seen around here? Is there a difference between summer and winter born puppies? Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

| I think it's mostly genetic, but what triggers the normal seasonal shedding cycle may play a part in the length of time puppies keep that fluff. |

| Our puppy isn't as furry and fluffy as her siblings, and she doesn't have the "blocky" head that I keep hearing is desirable. Her fur actually looks kind of shiny to me, especially on her head. I think it makes her look more feminine. Clearly, I would to be a good judge at a show...... |

| Isla wasn't and still isn't fluffy or furry. Everyone thinks she is a labrador because of it. She also has almost silvery hair in places and it kind of glitters! Here's a pic or her at 7 weeks when i got her, and now ![]()

| Loki was & still is a fluffy baby. His fur was kind of wavy when he was younger, but now that he's four months old, it's quite straight, but still lovely & fluffy. He has the block head of his father, who has done well as a show dog. Looking at him now, the fur down his back is not quite as fluffy as it was, but sides, head & chest area are still very fluffy. |

| Walnut was pretty fluffy at 8 weeks, and looks like a lion now. He has A LOT of thick (but soft) fur! His leash/harness is basically invisible with all the fur. Needless to say, we vacuum almost every day - even with daily brushing. Here he is the day we brought him home:
