Bridget is one year old!
Well, sad to say, I guess our time in the puppy forum is done, and me and the big girl get to move on to the main forum, and ...of course the bratty teenage stage.
So much has happened over this year...learning to swim, then Bridget turning into a divinity stick finding water WHEREVER we go for a hike...and of course mud puddles!
She has completed her first 3 puppy classes and now will move into GCC class, and after that, not sure where it will lead........
Our classes are on hold for now until January.
My mother is 93 years old and on Hospice care, and I am staying at her home to help take care of her in her final days.
Therefore, Bridget and my husband are going it alone for as long as it takes.
So, since I'm not with Bridget to train everyday.........we'll hold out a bit.
I also found out I need rotator cuff surgery....(when it rains it pours...)
So...we'll wait a bit, and then move on.......
Good luck to all you new puppy owners.
Just remember this thought.........no matter how awful it seems with that new puppy jumping, biting, grabbing..it all gets better.........
Bridget is turning into a wonderful young lady, and we love her more than words can say...........
