Tomorrow I am going to go puppy shopping. We have a crate, farm and fleet had a great sale a week ago on crates, also bought some kongs and a few other toys, but I know we need more.

The countdown has officially begun. We should be picking her up on the 27th, which is perfect, she won't be here for Christmas, which I think I would have asked to wait till the day after if she was ready before...but we are off until the Wednesday after the 1st so will have about a week with her, and then I will modify my hours so that she isn't home alone for more than a couple of hours at a time..Thankfully my job is flexible and I can pick and choose how many and what hours I work. Not looking forward to midnight winter potty breaks, but maybe that will get her to just do her business..

Any way, I'm so excited had to share...

I am beyond excited...lol...I think my husband is tired of talking about how we are going to raise her etc etc etc...yet I know he's excited too...

Mayve, we're almost in the same boat. Our pup just turned 4 weeks and we get her around the 14th of December. We are beyond excited. Its funny you said that about your husband, my husband keeps saying (in a loving joking manner) you're outta control every time I bring up something else that I want to teach her, ha ha!

DH has accused me of being obsessed about this new puppy. Guilty as charged...lol

we have had our pup home for about 8 weeks everyday is still an adventure(mostly great)--she is growing so darn fast---waiting for winter now here in the middle of Wisconsin

I've never raised a pup in winter...this should be an adventure...Hoping we get more snow than last year!!!!

we have already have had as much snow as I really care for this year- Am liking the really mild days too--winter is getting shorter all the time!
