You might try hidding small treats around (zukes mini's work well) and tell her to find it. My girl loves this game and exercises her brain.

Molly was 6 months when spayed and other than the first night of pain and us sleeping with her all night we couldn't keep her still. Then I discovered antler bones and she calmed right down. So' between the bones, playing hiding games and brushing her to keep her calm and still we managed to get threw it. We only had1 case of bad zoomies and that was on day 3 and we just had to let her do it as she just had the mad cow look in her eyes. Lol
Good luck I think all goldens are the same just don't want to keep still and don't seem to feel pain.

Excellent suggestions. Thanks to all of you. Yesterday she had a new bone and that lasted twenty whole minutes.

Only four days to go. This too shall pass.

The stitches are OUT! Maddie is back playing with her friends at doggie day care four hours a day.

And gosh, she's just a bit more tired then she has been. Looks like she's trying out for a 1940's centerfold.
