| My yorkies all have matching knit, crochets, and sewed sweaters and coats. My mom is a very proud FURR Grandma! She finds it to be relaxing. I am okay knitting and sewing but she is 1000x better than me. Buddy has hand-me downs from my previous Golden, Lucky- I never got around to taking them in last year when I got him. Lucky was a big boy at 120 pounds and hip height compared to Buddy how is mid thigh height and only 90 pounds- He was much skinneir last year- I had to safety pin the coats and jackets in. He has a bright orange one to wear when in the woods (never know when some idiot will be hunting), a red Santa coat, and blue and yellow fleece rubber ducky coat. He also has boots but purely for protection since he will rip his pad open and keep right on going til he starts to limp. Very thin homemade fleece with mushers stuff directly onto his feet- I had to do the same thing with my last golden too. They love the cold but it does not love them. Can't wait to see what you make him ![]() He quickly learned if he wanted to play outside he had to wear clothes- He was very bald when I rescued him so a coat was a must. This year hopefully he won't need them unless it is heavily snowing- Makes de-snowing quick and easy. Remove coat and 90% of the snow is gone.

| Can't wait to see what you come up with. I have coats for my yorkies, cause they do not have undercoats but the goldens don't really need anything here where we have little cold. Remember to post pictures of what you come up with.

| lol. I put a sweater on my old lady Emma after she is shaved. I used to keep her in a show cut (Cocker Spaniel) but it is a lot of work and Emma does not enjoy being groomed, she will sit for it fine, but gives me that "look"...so now that she's 12 I figure "WHY"...I have even dressed my cats up...sigh I know, they looked pathetic but I couldn't help myself...they only lasted long enough for me to take a picture. I can sew, but not well enough to try and make a jacket, holiday curtains and gift bags yes, but not clothes. I pitty any animal that would have to wear my creation. Hope it goes well and pictures are a must if you get it done...lol |
