Watching Television

Late this afternoon, we were watching a "Buddies" movie. It was one of the kids' movies with the Golden Retriever puppies in one of their adventures.

Our pup who is almost 5 months was watching with us. It was the funniest thing to watch. She actually sat and watched the puppies and would bark at them. Then when the pups would run off screen, she would get up and try to look underneath and behind the tv to find where they went.

I could not believe how long she watched to movie...I just wish she had that long an attention span when we trained.

I found it so funny to watch her watch the tv. I am sure there are plenty more who do the same thing and I would love to hear them!

Max watches TV also. Especially if he hears dogs barking. "Person of Interest" recently had a series of episodes with a dog--I think a Belgian Malinois--really got Max's attention.

Hank doesn't watch TV but DD/SIL's GSD does, it drives them nuts because he bark at animals or people he doesn't like.

My girls love the "Buddies" movies. They have all of them, my younger one especially likes Snow Buddies. I actually leave them playing, on continuous, play if we are going out for awhile to keep them company. My daughter says they are probably wondering why the puppies on TV can talk and they can't

we were watching 'Red Dog' a couple of months back and there was a scene where the dog is walking into the distance Jasper gets up goes straight to the screen and tries to follow the dog resulting in him headbutting the tv. Very amusing!!!

Daisy likes to watch TV. She likes a lot of sports and really likes things on Animal Planet. The other night we were watching a documentary on White Owls and she was absolutely entranced with it. I caught a picture of her watching it.

Bridger is my lst dog who is visually attracted to TV. As a youngster, his favorites were Bull Riding (he'd go beserk!), and Westminister. After years of dogs (labs & one older Golden) it's been so much fun to have TV viewer. He's now just a casual viewer & the flat screen is safe

I have videos of maverick and one of his friends playing. When I stream it to my tv maverick loves it. Anything else only catches his interest for a minute or two

Buddy really doesn't pay attention to the TV but he is obsessed with Gymnastics! If you turn off his Gymnastics he will start to whine and nudge the TV!

The yorkies will watch TV! Roxy- ADD- Loves action. Cozy and Lucy enjoy it as background to their nap time- If you turn it off the immediately wake up!

Buddy is named after Air Bud! The day I rescued him I kept passing signs that said "Adopt a Buddy Today!" advertising for the Air Bud series. The name fits him perfectly. He is my ever present shadow!
