Kirkland Puppy Food?

I am getting my 8 week old puppy this week and I was wondering if using Kirkland Puppy food would be safe. My breeder has my puppy (Cooper) on Kirkland right now, but recently there has been news about Kirkland dog food recalls (and all brands associated with Diamond). I was wondering if it would be a smart move to change him over to a different brand or continue with the Kirkland brand. It has received very good reviews, but due to the recent recall (which has happened a couple of times) I am skeptic on whether or not I should stay with this brand food.

If anyone has used Kirkland. or is using Kirkland, can you please share your experiences?

Many thanks!

Its ok, not the best but certainly better than alot of other products. If you feel the need to switch its fairly easy. Heres a review of the product Dog Food Reviews - Kirkland Signature Range Super Premium Puppy Chicken, Rice & Vegetable - Powered by ReviewPost. That site has alot of good information on every dog food out there.

I've heard the same as edgard--ok but not the best. The factory problems seem to be over--for now. One thing to consider is that most dog breeders recommend you keep your puppy on the same food it's been getting at the breeder's for at least a month, and then take time switching to a new food.

There are many kinds of food out there. If you look around GRF you'll find many discussions (heated ones sometimes!) and lots of recommendations. It pays to research the food carefully, find one that works for your dog and for your pocket book, and stick with it unless there are problems.
