Well we're home!!!

What a good little girl she is so far.

She stayed awake, alert and happy for the entire car ride home which was about 1 1/2 hours. Brisby wasn't afraid, didn't get car sick and had no accidents in the car.

All her life so far has been in her puppy pen with her Mom, siblings and the family kitchen so I wasn't sure what kind of reaction I would get when we got here.

We took her out to the back yard right from the car and she absolutely loved it...loved the grass, her new toys. She romped around, taking everything in, chased her new ball and basically had a blast. She even did her business straight away outside.

When we took her in the house I thought she may get a bit nervous, but no....she walked in here like she owned the place...no fear, no reservation.

She took to her kennel right away. I started her off with a bit of her kibble in the kennel...then half filled her new puppy kong with it and of course we have a brand new baby blanket with her Mom's scent in there to make her comfy.

She's one really pooped puppy right now and is fast asleep in her kennel.

Congratulations and Good Luck with your new puppy! Beautiful. We got our Rose recently as well. We were torn as far as what to get and chose a British Golden. Trooper - medium golden passed away May 12, 2005. Jack - black and white GR/BC mix passed away July 14, 2011. This time we went with totally different - white golden.

We have learned come, sit, down and will be starting puppy classes next week.
