So Oliver and I have been working hard on his recall and....I think we're making progress!!!!!

Oliver was off having a ton of fun with his big brother Bernie, but......


...He came running when I called


And then tonight my boyfriend was feeding the pups their favorite treat (ice cubes)...I called Oliver's name and BOOM:

Good work on the recall team Bernie. That last picture cracks me up. Bernie is levitating towards the treat and the ears, oh, the ears.

That's great! Best thing you can teach them as far as I'm concerned. As bad as my Parker can be at times I had started the recall at 8wks and when you call him you'd better be prepared because he will spin and come flying fast, all you can hope for is good brakes!!

Thanks for your comments everyone, its such a good feeling This is by far the most important command in my book for keeping my pups safe...and how can you not love seeing that face and those ears come barreling at you!

I totally agree about the importance of recall and that face. He's so adorable, 3-5 months old was always my favorite ages.
