Winter Wonderland in Southern California

It doesn't snow here, so Champ and I had to think of an alternative plan.

I sprayed the plants in the background with snow spray to give it that wintery look, and held a branch over Champ with the snowflakes attached with strings.

Happy Holidays everyone

Champ

I LOVE all of your pictures of Champ! He's such a beautiful dog so he makes a good subject! I cannot wait to bring home my own Champ in 7-8 weeks!

And Happy Holidays to you and Champ. We've got PLENTY of snow up here...I'd be more than happy to share it. Give Champ a big hug for me, as you know he's always been one of my favorites.

Sonny, the black lab, ran ahead to make sure there were no gophers or jackrabbits in the way. If you don't give a dog a specific job, he'll improvise one for himself and it will invariably be fun. There's a lesson there.
