Well, Pebbles competed in her first dog show Saturday; The Crown Classic Dog Shows at the IX-Center in Cleveland.

She did great! She placed 4th out of 100's if not 1000's of Goldens. OK. I lied. There were only 4 in her class. Her sister placed 3rd.

It was the first time we were at a show where one of our dogs was entered. The breeder/handler was really happy with how she did too.

We couldn't be happier.

Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures. The lighting in the place is really bad and the announcers announced several times asking people to not use flash. So I didn't. Wish I had better pictures to share.

Another reason I didn't get too many pictures is that Pebbles had been with the handler the entire previous week and we hadn't seen her. So we were afraid that if she saw us before the show, she would go nuts! So we were doing a lot of hiding behind people and stuff so she would see us.

Here is one of her outside the ring just before going in and the black and white is of her father.

Great! Glad she seems to enjoy showing! With more practice things will keep getting better and better! I was there 3 of 4 days. Wish I would have known! Pebble's mom is littermate to my dog's dam!! Small dog world!
