| Haha awww he is very cute, when he was younger did he just automatically jump in? Because Marley doesn't seem to like it :-/ Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

| No, he didn't really take to it right away, he was very curious, my pom mix on the other hand, she loves to splash along the shore line, so she really helped him feel comfortable with the whole water thing. He's not big on swimming yet, he runs in and as soon as he realizes that he's having to swim he turns right around and comes back. I'm sure once he really gets the hang of it I won't be able to keep him out.

| Oh man! Yes, we're going through the mouthing stage like CRAZY!! He's 16 weeks old now and he's hitting that naughty stage. Mouthing, jumping biting my bum. My kids are really working hard to break the mouthing habit with him, he's slowly getting it, but he does have his moments. Today I think he was at his worst when I went to get my son from school. He was so full of himself that when kids wanted to approach him he'd just want to jump all over them. It was very stressful. |

| I remember Marley when he was that age there isn't much you can do about it, I felt on disparity haha like nothing made a difference I think it's just his age, apparently all retrivers go through the same thing. I know it's very stressful at first because he did it with everybody and it seems like its nasty but its not. The thing we did was as soon as we felt his teeth on anyone that person went in another room and completely ignored him, no shouting or anything, then came back out and ignored him until he was calm. It seemed to work. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |
