Both Woody and I are dying to get out to the lake but it looks like for now we're going to have to put that on hold for a bit. Hope you enjoyed the pictures...

Sonny, the black lab, ran ahead to make sure there were no gophers or jackrabbits in the way. If you don't give a dog a specific job, he'll improvise one for himself and it will invariably be fun. There's a lesson there.

Thanks! Our trees just got the memo to start changing colors. It happened this weekend! Whenever I'm outside it's eye candy- can't take my eyes off some of the trees. Woody looks great!

Beautiful pictures! The leaves have all fallen from our trees and are all dry and crunchy on the ground now

Thanks Alan I get daily reports from friends who are out there and they've been slamming the trout...it's such a beautiful time to be out there. And of course Woody absolutly loves it...just total freedom for him.
