Just wondering if anyone feeds either of Dr. Harvey's pre-mixes. The Canine Health pre-mix is grain-based. The Veg-To-Bowl is all veggies.

Our guys are loving the Veg-To-Bowl presently, though our grain tolerant two have enjoyed the Canine Health in the past.

I know that this is about 18 months old...but I am curious if anyone else is using Dr. Harvey's. My friend gave me a bag to try & Gibbs loves it. I am unsure about if I will use it daily as Gibbs is doing exceptionally on his kibble. I may use the Dr. Harveys by supplementing a meal or two a week. Would love to hear how others use this food.

I had used the veggies one with my crew for when I am too lazy to make them their evening veggies myself.

I feed our Beagle, Oliver, the Veg-To-Bowl, as his primary base, with protein and rotating oils. He has battled high liver values and seizures over the last few years and this food has helped him tremendously.

He's a veggie and fruit guy. (He prefers a carrot, green bean, or piece of cantalope over a piece of meat, if you can believe that. )

I make the Veg-To-Bowl with extra hot water, so after the veggies are rehydrated, there is a "juice" which he laps up after eating his meal.

I have met Dr. Cohen a few times. While I don't see the value of these mixes for a healthy dog, they are a good option for a challenged dog.

I will say that he is a very, very nice man and I believe he is a honest man as well.

I'm super pleased with Oliver's overall health since he's been eating the Veg-To-Bowl. Keeps his weight down and his energy level is great for an older, disabled guy.

I'm not sure that I understand this comment. Is this food inherently bad/inept, or too pricy, or something else in your mind?
