I found these 2 videos to be very interesting. I did not see them posted anyplace else here.
The Best and Worst of Pet Food in 2012

One is by the FDA and the other is by owner of the site & pet food advocate/crusader.

The second one really makes you think. I actually looked up myself the FDA guidelines she speaks of and what she says appears to be true. It pokes so many holes in what the FDA says it makes me even more disheartened than I was before.

The FDA does not care that thousands of animals are sickened every year and many die due to tainted pet foods. If this was people there would be a huge public outcry but because it is just animals it is quietly sweep under the rug.

All I know is I feed Zoey "safe" dog treats- Made by Nestle Purina but marketed as Waggin Train and Canyon Creek. She was the only 1 of my 5 dogs that ate these treats. She spent her 3rd birthday (Feb. 2012) with a poor appetite and had passed away due to renal failure by April 2012. I had owned her from the time she was conceived. It was like watching my own child be killed. Neither Purina nor the FDA cares, however in the FDA website they tote caring about our pets. What a crock of you know what!

It seems like in the past year, I am seeing more and more businesses carrying Canyon Creek.

I even asked my brother what treats he bought for his dog and sure enough it was the Canyon Creek. Told him your story and the story of others.
