| Found: Dark Male Golden Retriever in Canton, NY A dark red, white-faced male was found on Tuesday morning, November 13 2012, in Canton, NY by the St. Lawrence University campus. He was wearing a silver chain collar without tags. He is very friendly and lovable with no known health issues, however because he is a stray it is hard to tell. | Has he been scanned for a microchip? Any vet should be able to quickly do this.

| Yes, he has been scanned for a microchip and does not have one. We've contacted the police, vets, the pound, and animal wardens and no one knows of this dog. However, it looks like we will have a nice new home for him soon! |

| If you do need help finding him a new home, check with the Golden Retriever rescues surrounding your area, they do a great job of taking care of the dogs and identifying really good adopters. You can find them listed on this website: National Rescue Committee of the Golden Retriever Club of America
