OFA eye/heart exams?

I've been calling around and there's a $50+ variation in costs, but even the low end is much higher than I expected...

When my older dog has been done at health clinics in the past, it's been around $70-80 for both, but every vet I've called, has been much higher PER test... and it's actually surprising. I knew health clinics got a good deal, but I didn't expect that much of a difference.

Gee! In my area the cardiac cerf (with a board certified cardiologist) at a university was I think like $35 at the most. Of course I think it was like 15 or 20 to send it in. The eye cerf was even cheaper at $28. Was not too bad

Argggg I called the university here.... maybe I talked to the wrong person? Maybe I asked the wrong questions? ("Do you do OFA eye and heart exams? What days are those done? What is the approximate cost?")

Thanks for pulling that up!

I called and asked and apparently this is old info. Now it's $145 for the first dog and $26 for the 2nd+.
