| Mercy Got Spayed Today! Hello everyone. Mercy did get spayed today. It is kinda scary seeing her so lethargic. I know that's normal, just as long as she is acting more like normal tomorrow. When we brought Mercy into the house, the first place she went was the couch. We didn't have the heart to tell her to get down. I actually have a picture of Mercy on the couch. I asked my husband to take her off the couch when she was ready, but Mercy had jumped down herself already as we saw her standing on the floor. I've looked at her stitches, and I just hope they weren't loosened. I sprayed Bitter Apple on them. Thankfully she's not interested in licking them and hopefully never will be. |

| Poor girl. She will probably be back to her usual self in a couple-of-days. |

| So sorry she is hurting. The bigger worry, at least when Maddie was spayed, was the day after and the week after that when she was supposed to be quiet. It was a huge struggle, that I failed, to keep her quiet.

| I am glad the spay surgery went well and that Mercy is home even though she is a bit out of it now. She will be much more awake tomorrow. Really try to block her from jumping up on the couch and down; I would have a cone ready just in case she decides to go lickety lick at some point. Hoping her recovery is uneventful. Does she have stitches that need to come out ?
