| Roxy seems lethargic after Rabies vaccination She had her annual exam today and was due for her 3 year Rabies vaccination. Ever since we got home from the Vets she seems not herself. She ate, drank and went out to use the bathroom. She is just not my Roxy. She's 10 and I know that sweet girl and can tell there is something "off" with her. |

| It is normal for dogs to be a little off after vaccinations for a couple of days. If she is not better in a few days, definitely have her looked at by a vet. Did you have a geriatric profile done on her yet? It includes serum chemistry panel, CBC, Thyroid check and a urinalysis. Dogs at the age of seven should have one done at least yearly. My large dogs are seniors, they get a geriatric profile done every six months now. Hope your furbaby feels better soon.

| I'm sure she will bounce back in a day or so. Not unusual to have a little "blah" feeling after vaccinations.

| Vaccines commonly do this especially in older dogs. I stop vaccinating my dogs after 6-7 years for rabies. My now 10 year old had her last rabies at 9 years. I do not vaccinate for distemper/parvo after the year booster |
