Beau got to play with two other dogs today at my boyfriend's house for the first time in a long time. When we left, I took him to Petco then to Sportsmans Warehouse as a reward for being so good. At sportsmans, he laid down while I was talking to a friend and rolled over on his back, showing his stomach. That's when I noticed a big red mark on his leg! Upon further inspection, (because I knew it must be new, from the visit) it looked like it had 3 claw marks in it, like Demon (the husky he was playing with) had tried to jump over him while he was on his back and accidentally landed on his leg or stepped on him or something.

It looks painful, but Beau doesn't seem to mind when you touch it. Any suggestions on cleaning it or anything? It's superficial, if even that - I'm not even sure it broke skin yet.

He'll "clean it" on his own. If its just a scratch just maybe wash it off. That's all I would do anyway if no skin is broken. I bet it will barely be there come morning!
