| Introducing Bella For those of you who know me through following my Maggie postings, I would like to introduce Bella, a 14 month old Golden that we are currently fostering We are currently having a mysterious illness affecting Bella She was spayed 16 days ago and is still doing some occasional bleeding The vet did some blood work on her and her WBC, neutrophils and monocytes were all elevated She just completed a round of antibiotics and is currently at the vet waiting to be checked. She only weighs 38.8 lbs (you can feel her ribs), even though she has a good appetite - she weighed 40 lbs when we got her. At first we thought that she had a UTI, because of excessive urination, but the UA came back negative. I am praying that everything is okay because she is starting to become a very important member of our family and we desperately want to adopt her |

| Oh, I am so sorry that Bella is having problems. I remember you writing about her in Maggie's post. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they find out what is wrong with Bella and can make her better real soon. Good luck and hugs to Bella.

| Bella went for more blood work on Friday. With the holidays, we will probably not get the results until next Wednesday She continues to have occasional urination accidents in the house even though we let her out every hour or so. Her latest UA came back normal so she does not have a UTI Hopefully her blood test results will show improvement and we will be able to find out what is wrong with her |

| The vet is not worried about Bella's slightly elevated lymphocyte count, so I guess that means that everything is okay She is getting more energetic by the day and she will not leave the cats alone, but they do not want to play with her |
