My pup, Rigel, seems to have itchy/flaky skin these days due to dry weather. I see some red dots on his skin as well. I thought about bringing him in to the vet but also saw a mist for dogs for dry skin online called "Miracle Coat Pet Skin Mist Treatment" and there's one review on the web that's really good; I was wondering if anyone's tried this before? Should I try it on my pup before taking him into the vet?

I've never tried that spray, but it probably wouldn't hurt to give it a try. If his skin condition is worsening, I'd give your vet a call and see what they suggest.

I have a Golden with skin issues and when I see red dots, it usually means a bacterial infections is starting. I'd take him to the vet.
