Hey there GR gang looking for some help.....

Our GR, Angus, and our Bully/collie mix, Bindi Lou, have high ball drive. Our kids are home-schooled and we work from home, therefore, we are always looking for new adventures and things to try and its ever so fun when the dogs are involved. SO....I was thinking flyball! We can build all the equipment, thats not an issue. I can train sit, stay, heel, shake, leave it and so forth. With the help of the new flyball book I can get more than the jest of the sport along with the smarts of both Angus and Bindi Lou I'm sure we can accomplish the basics.

What I would really like is a mentor. I cannot seem to find anyone that is reasonably close. There is NO one even close to the KC area, I'm 45 miles south of there! I dont have dreams to become a circuit racer to where our lives exist for flyball, yet, only just would very much like to start community involvement to where others can enjoy watching their dogs "getit getit getit!" full speed with ours.

Open to any suggestions!
