Needs opinions

Hi I am new to the forum and this is my first post. I have a 10 month old male golden and 1 yr old female golden. Would like the opinion of others regarding my female. She is not eating properly ever since she had her first heat cycle. And that was 2 months ago. I would give her a cup of kibble and would just taste them. Tried a different brand with same result. Tried giving raw and its still the same. Although she would gobble up human food and her treats. Never really give treats to my dogs but just testing her if she would take treats and she did. So i ruled out any sickness or blockage. I don't really want to continue giving her human food as i dont want her to get used to it. She gets walked 2x a day. And i let her play with my boy and they would be jumping and nipping each other. So i guess she is fine healthwise. Don't have a clue anymore. Opinions would be appreciated thanks.

Are both of your dogs unaltered, by chance?

Just yesterday i tried a different approach. I tried starving her a bit.. i skipped her breakfast and instead gave raw around 2pm. And she ate it all. Although it took her 10 mins to finish. Gave her dinner around 7pm and did not touch it. It does not seem she's loosing weight bad or getting skinny. Maybe just a bit

Is it possible she's pregnant?

Whether she's pregnant or not, (and if they weren't seperated while she was in heat, she could very well be pregnant), a dog going off their food is not normal. She needs to be seen by your vet. Sooner than later...

Hope she's not pregnant.

If it were a small litter you may not be able to tell just from looking at her. Either way, I agree you should take her to the vet to be checked over.

If she was pregnant, she would have given birth already. She also has no symptoms of being pregnant. Her first cycle started oct. 15. 2016
