Golden in Need of a Home (Craigslist- San Diego)

If you're in the area and are looking for an adult golden, please see the add above.

I've contacted the owners, and they said they've already contacted a couple rescues in the area but none of them have gotten back to them. I've asked if I can contact rescue on their behalf but they didn't want me to, quoting they want to find him a real home.

Pass it around and lets see if we can find a home for this boy, hopefully.

If we cannot find Henry a home soon, we will be forced to return him to the shelter.
He is good with kids and dogs who are not aggressive but he would prefer to be in a home alone!!!
We have a two year old golden that was rescued from the Kill Shelter by a family who was unable to keep him. We have been able to provide temporary housing, but we need to find him a home!

He is a sweet, mellow boy, who is a loyal companion and just needs to be loved!
We have taken him to restaurants and hotels with us, and he has wonderful manners and is eager to please and is a very quick learner!

Henry gets a little anxious when he is left alone. We took him to a trainer in Anaheim and they explained that he just needs a little crate work. She said that with some attention, he could definitely grow out of it. The issue we have with him is that if he barks AT ALL in our house, we could be evicted. We cant train him hear and we cant afford to put him through training course. With some work though, and a convenient place to train, he will grow out of it

He is very loving and loyal!


We got him all of his shots and a good grooming so he is ready for his new forever home!

Again, Henry is a sweet boy who needs a home where he is the only pet and he will be smothered with love!!

They want to find him a "real home" but would rather put him in a shelter instead of a rescue. Did I read that correctly?

Yea.

I talked up the rescues and explained all dogs are in foster care so they are in "real" homes. But nope.

I'm hoping they surrender to a rescue. If not ill ask them to let me know and I can always jail break him from the shelter to be in foster care at a rescue. He looks so sweet.

If only I could help them all!!!!

I will never understand people like that, I much prefer animals.

I hope that poor boy will be rescued or adopted before being sent to death row.

He's been deleted from Craigslist...hopefully they found him a good forever home.
