A lot of time when I go outside with Charlie to play, he doesn't seem interested. I throw the ball or frisbee and he either gets it and lays down right after or doesn't even bother to get up.
Last week my son got some of that bubble soap from a birthday party and started blowing bubbles in the backyard. Well, I think Charlie is really interested in that! He LOVES chasing them and popping them which also involves jumping up trying to get them. He has a lot of fun and is getting a lot of exercise. This is a new, fun thing we almost do daily. Both my son and Charlie are having fun.
Just thought I would share this, in case somebody needs a new idea for something to do with your Golden :-)

I had been thinking about doing this with Molly, but I didn't know if it would be bad for her to eat bubbles/soap! I think I'll try it out and we'll play with bubbles on this beautiful day. Thanks!

We do this quite a bit with our pup, too - he's almost a year old, and still enjoys the bubble fun!

I think you can get doggy safe, flavored, bubbles at Petsmart.

I seen (supposedly pet safe) bacon flavored bubbles a while back.....not sure how that works.

Pixie has the peach flavor bubbles, and she loves it. When they fall on the floor they do not burst so she also gets to hunt then once they land

My son brought home some bubbles from school and Milla liked chasing after them. She doesn't get them most of the time so I dont worry about the tiny bit of soap from the few that she does get.
