Here's a good site to find good breeders:

Um, I might be wrong, but a lot of the breeders fit the requirements to be a good ethical breeder like health testing, showing, club member, and etc.

It's not only a good site to find GR breeders, but any other breed as well.

I took an admittedly very quick look at the Golden breeders on the site...no less then half dozen breeders are breeders with less then ethical practices -- including a glorified puppy mill in my state...
No, I would not use this as a reference for me, my family or my friends.

Then I won't use it either. Thank you for saying that.

Where are you from? I'm sure that people here could suggest reputable breeders in your area for you to take a look at.

You can always start with your local golden retriever club.

That's over here in Michigan...if you're willing to travel that far for a pup, you can do SO much better! Everything that I've read about Millstones Goldens has been less than satisfactory. How far exactly are you willing to travel?

I would be very skeptical of the breeders you find. Some are trying to do a good job, others not so much. There are so many disclaimers it's hard to find much for useful information.

There are a number of them advertising "English Cream", so that is a red flag from the get go.
