Okay, I admit to having a Schoolhouse baby.
And Jerry Lee (Glengowan) is stunning.

Do you have pictures posted of your baby?

Nope, I've been too busy enjoying everyone else's pictures.
Banker is not a confirmation dog, though I hope to start agiltiy this year, work permitting. He got his CGC at 9 months, so he is very trainable.
Right now, he is a lake dog - don't stand between him and the water.

I should have mentioned that I am only looking for a companion pup.

I sent some messages to a few breeders. If I hear back from any of them, I may ask for some opinions.
Have a great night!

A companion pup deserves to come from a reputable breeder that does all clearances to best ensure him a healthy long life. MOST puppies even from reputable breeders are companion pups. Go for the best!

Brianna has a Facebook page for them, but no website. You could always friend her on there and shoot her an e-mail.

Just another thought.
The Golden Retriever Rescue of North Texas is having a meet and greet this weekend. It's very casual, come and go. No clearances, no medical history, just cute Goldens. Except Ben. He is an honorary Golden. As a puppy, he was put in the rescue box at Dallas Animal Services with a bunch of Goldens. They couldn't just leave him, so GRRNT rescued him too. He is a major tailwagger and love bug. If he is still available this summer.....

Full House and PUPPY DEBUT - this Saturday! We will be at the WOOF GANG BAKERY in North Richland Hills this Saturday, January 19, from 10-Noon. Meet with our GRRNT fosters and volunteers and say hello to some of our ADOPTABLES.

Dogs and Puppies attending:
Bashful
Ben
Buddy
Dexter
Dopey
Grumpy
Happy
... Jim Bowie
Mazee
Rufus (new)

I had actually completed the online application for the rescue to be a foster home but didn't hear back yet.
Regarding our next pup, we aren't prepared for the risk of not having the health history. We went through so much over the years with Heidi's medical issues, and it was extremely expensive. She was worth every penny, and I would do it all over again for her. We aren't ready for a pup now either.
The rescue looks like a great organization though. I signed up for membership a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully we can support it in other ways. Thanks for the suggestion!
