It's only just gotten hot here. It's been close to 84 degrees in the last few days! Whoo, heat wave. Of course, it's also going down to about 40 degrees at night and has been for the last few weeks.

I'm just hoping this year we get to see the leaves change colour before the snow hits and they die. We never really get a "fall" here or a spring...

I agree it was "better" today here in central Louisiana...74% humidity and 74 degrees at 7 a.m. was nice enough that Tundra and I could go for a morning walk. We haven't gotten the upper 60's for lows here....but after being in the northwest for over 20 years (up until last year when we moved back home) I can't get that excited about upper 60's!LOL I'm hoping just another summer and we can start trying to transfer back out west! I gotta get back to the mountains!

I think 74 degrees with 74% humidity is pretty awful. I barely make it though a Michigan summer, I'm sure I'd go crazy down south.

BUT (there's always a but, isn't there) I do love Louisiana and New Orleans in March. Not for Marde Gras, the time just before that. Nothing like a muffalatta while sitting on the levy.

We cooled down to 105.........was 111 a few days ago. Looking out the window, I can see the clouds ~ T storms brewing. I will be happy when it cools off a bit. I am starting to get cranky!

This week was a little chilly for us too. Jona wakes up at 5am so we go for our morning walk around 5:15am and it has been around 50° F during that time. This weekend though we will go back up to the 90's .

When it's been being 85 degrees and 85% humidity at 7 in the mornings, then the 74% humidity feels pretty "good"! Spring does have it's good points here especially when I'm talking to my friend back in MT and it's snowing in April!LOL I guess you can complain about the cold winters in the northwest and the summer heat in the south...and pick the one you want to deal with the most. I'm "picking" the northwest....just had to make a pit stop in the south for a couple of years!LOL

I'll take that 46 degrees in August, no problem!

Dallas had an unusual weather phenomenon this week. On Monday the high at DFW Airport was 107 (it was hotter a few miles away though), the hottest day of the year, and yesterday the high was 82, the lowest daily high in August in years (tied with 2004 for the record). It's back to 94 today but it was so nice this morning!

Oh boy, do I sympathize with the tired of the heat and humidity crankiness!

Well, I just went to drop off the mail and had to go to Petsmart......whew! Man oh man....108 degrees at 3 PM.... I feel sick now. I had to carry in the dog food and ect. I feel like sticking my head in the ice maker It still looks like a nasty storm north of us. When I got in my car..the radio was beeping (weather station) warning of the T-storms.

Yikes, I'm not ready for it to get that cold yet! Although I can't say I'll ever be ready for it to get that cold. I wish it could be spring/summer year round.
