| Try not to let the Viewed post numbes bother anyone..... These number get inflated with non registered members viewing the board as well as "bots" that search out posts for search engines. |

| I try to respond to everyone's post. If I dont know the answer I will go search for it for the member. Anyone can do that. So if there is a question about something important the member can have their question answered. To me that is the most important, not the most posts. Like mylissyk said, there are so many threads posted to the forum on a daily basis that new posts can get bumped to the bottom. If you go to new posts you will miss some of the threads if there were no posts to it, since the last time you visited the forum. So what I do when I visit the forum is go to Today's Posts. You can find that under Quick Links. That will give all the posts within the last 24 hours, whether there have been new posts to it or not. Some people come here and look at particular sections of the forum and not all of them so they may never see the all the posts in other sections. I dont think it is anything personal.

| I'm guilty of reading posts, thinking "oooh, I've got something to say!" and then having to do get back to work. Next time I come on, I forgot about it. As for the pictures thread, I usually look at most of the threads and think "aw cute" and then see that other people have either said the exact thing i was going to or similar enough, so I don't post. Sorry, C's Mom - that's exactly what happened with your cute pic of the wig - I was going to reply and then everyone who had had already said what i was going to type. Then I got busy at work...sorry! |

I read many, many posts, and as much as I would love to respond to ALL of them, I simply don't have that many hours in my day! If I don't have the expertise requested, or if the question is on a topic I've already responded to previously, I may not reply. Also, it's quality not quantity, right? If someone asks a question and the first reply is rock solid, perhaps others just don't feel they need to say, "I agree." Just my thoughts. Have I mentioned I love this place?

| I don't always read every post...I pop in on the forums a few times a day for just a couple minutes (because that's all I can steal at work), and I read the threads that have titles that stick out to me. Maybe some of the threads would get more responses if the title to them gave more of a hint as to what is inside?

| I too am guilty of using the new posts link ALL THE TIME. I now see the todays posts link and will use that one as well. When I have a post that is important to me (for responses), if no one responds i will type in bumping up to get peoples attention. I am guilty, however, of not always replying to posts, and I will change that now that I realize it is quite insulting to people. |

I used to get an email telling me of any new replies to a thread I had posted on but I don't anymore not sure if something I have done (need to check) but it gave me more time to respond to new posts where as now I have to find the older threads to keep up leaving less time for new posts.
