I recently accepted a position with the americorps in Port Angeles, WA. I graduated with my master's degree in education in May, but there currently aren't any teaching jobs so I thought about the americorps and I think it will be a great experience, and the only time in my life I'll be able to do this.

I'm trying to figure out all the travel plans (for myself and Maddie) and I need to be there by the last week in August ... I need to do some major packing and organizing today. I just wanted to give an update, I might not be online a lot!

That's exciting. We are in Everett, WA. There are a couple other GRF members around here, too.

Thank you! I will! I already searched to find a local store that sells Fromm and I think I will be able to actually go to a store nearby instead of ordering it online so that's good.

Congrats on the job and move. That area is beautiful from what I hear, my hubby's nephew and his wife live there.

Thanks! I'm kind of stressed because so much to do, in so little time! And I'm trying to find dog friendly housing which is proving to be a bit of a challenge. But I have a couple leads and I need to keep doing some more research ... it's just tricky because I'm so far away and I won't be able to check any places out before.
