| It was such a pleasure to be able to do SOMETHING. When I read your story I couldn't even imagine how it must feel to lose your dog in such manner. The restlessness, the worries, it must be such an ordeal to go through. To ask yourself the whole time: Is Skylar ok, does she get food, water, is she hurt, where is she?? I can imagine that you aren't even able to think straight let alone act. You don't even know were to start Brrr, still gives me the goosebumps when I think about it. So for me, and I think for a lot of people here, to be able to be active in the search gives you inspiration to think about new ways to search, new people to contact. Every spare minute of my time I was behind the computer searching and emailing. And all the time I thought when we inform so many people Skylar has to show up somewhere. We were looking in so many directions. Especially in the end with all the letters that people here were sending, I really thought that was the right way to go. And then all of a sudden you read Kimm's message that Skylar is home. I was jumping up an down and ran to my husband who was working in the garage... Really Cathy: it was a pleasure. It gives me a good feeling to know there are so many people here who are willing to step in when somebody is in dire straits... Hugs for you and Skylar, ~Diana o and those two ladies that were taking care of Skylar: they are going to be overloaded with thank you cards from forum members :-)

| Aww, great photos!!! I'm so happy to hear that Skylar is bouncing back so quickly. That's a testament not only to the Golden spirit, but to the love with which this dog was raised. There's so much good in this story.. it really does the heart good!! Julie and Jersey
