Serenity is the name of the space craft in one of my favorite shows, Firefly (and also the name of the movie that was made when the show go canceled).

Mine's a version of one of my cats name. Her name was Mouse, I had her for 16 years before she died of kidney failure. I just use the German version of her name.

Avincent52 is from a Richard Thompson song, 1952 Vincent Black Lightning, about a guy, a girl and his motorcycle.

puddin-head is a nickname my grandfather gave me when I was just two or three... he had goofy names for all his grandkids and great-grandkids... My username is just a shortened version with my year of birth...

He passed away five years ago and the nickname has just gotten to mean more and more to me...everytime I see it or hear it, I think of him...

Sammy was my first dog. When we got Sammy and Barley, Sammy was mine and Barley was Josh's (My hubby). When I joined my first forum looking for help because Sammy was limping, it just seemed like a logical choice. I have used the same name on every forum since. Now I guess it serves as a tribute. We lost Sammy a few months ago to a brain tumor. Without him I doubt I would be the Golden obsessed person I am today. He led me to my first forum, to agility and to other dog games. At home he was my baby, a total mama's boy. I miss him!

I don't think you have to be a genius to figure out that Inge is my name. Interesting thread, by the way. I'd been wondering about some of the names and started my own 'stories' why someone would use a screenname like that...

I didn't have much of a choice in my name.

My grandpa does the SAME thing. My nickname is "wiz" not like I am a "whiz" but my name is Beth short for Elizabeth he calls me Wiz for Liz. He addresses every card to me as WIZ. Wow that was embarassing growing up. Now I smile and laugh and absolutely love it!

My dogs name is Lucky. When I found this forum I thought I had to have my dogs name in there so that is how LuckyPup came to play. I am VERY creative!
