Golden Retriever friendly human bedding

I currently have a beautiful bedspread, but it is for a king size and I have a queen. I really want to get some new bedding, but Milly does get on the bed for a few minutes almost every morning and bedding that does not show golden hair is imperative. My current bedspread is a very matte goldish color (more like a yellow gold) with various flowers embroidered into it - it really is quite pretty. It does a wonderful job of not allowing golden hair to show up, and I'm looking for another bedding set with that same quality. I haven't been able to find anything that looks this nice in queen size, so I was hoping some of you might have some dog friendly bedding you like, that doesn't show hair too badly and would be willing to share what kind you have.

Are there anyother golden friendly bedding colors? Any specific textures to look for? Anything you know for sure does not work?

I don't have any idea. LOL, I not only have goldens, but a lab and 4 black (and white) cats.

My question is, what are you going to do with the comforter you have now? Will you be selling it?

When I went to buy my last Duvet cover I set out to buy a brownish/gold one that would match Miles. I got as close as I could. It's not the best looking bed spread, but that's the price I pay for lettimg my dog on the bed with me!

We have a duvet cover on our bed. Very easy to wash! I wouldn't be able to wash a king size comforter in my washer and as often as Merl sleeps on the bed we have to wash it!

Shadow sleeps on the end of my 7 year old daughters bed. I always have a queen size sheet on top of her duvet because its so much easier to wash. Each friday it goes in the washer. It dries so quickly too. Her bedding always looks nice and she loves the fact that Shadow sleeps with her

Yup, a sheet over the bedspread or duvet cover is easily washed, although you won't win any Architectural Digest photo contests!

I have 2 goldens and a lab. I have not found any bedding like you requested. I just make sure all is WASHABLE!!! I did get a thin polar fleece throw that I opened up on my bed in the winter. That really helped keeping my bedspread and comforter cleaner. Too hot in the summer. I suppose I could try a plain sheet.

We have a lovely cream egyptian cotton duvet cover which is changed every 3 days, it washes so easily, and although you can't see any hairs on it, there is no denying the big black muddy paw prints all over it!!

We have a nice khaki houndstooth Duvet (comforter cover) that doesn't show Libby's hair at all. We don't let Murphy upstairs and he's black so that wouldn't work for him but for Golden hair it is perfect!
